At London Electrical Solutions we take health and safety seriously.
We believe electrical inspections are necessary not only to meet legal requirements, but because your work or living environment should be as electrically safe as possible.
A periodic inspection, or Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), is designed to locate any damage or ageing that might affect the safety of your employees or residents. They can identify wiring that may fall short of the IET Wiring Regulations, find any electrical equipment and wiring that might create the danger of high temperatures or electrocution, and provide a record that demonstrates your commitment to electrical safety. A periodic inspection can locate hidden damage that you may never become aware of unless an accident occurs.
Our friendly and competent electricians can conduct all aspects of electrical testing including continuity testing, insulation resistance, polarity, earth arrangement, RCD testing, and earth fault loop impedance, followed by a full report.
EICRs are a statutory requirement for HMOs (Houses of Multiple Occupancy) and commercial properties (the period interval differs depending on the function of the premises).
Although an EICR is not a legal requirement for privately-owned properties, an inspection of electrical installations should be made regularly and no less frequently than once a decade.
All our electricians are certified by City and Guilds and we follow the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2008).
